Brick House Tavern on Hurstbourne has a solid weekday happy hour with $4 domestics, $5 craft and imports, $7 glasses of wine, and $7 cocktails including a Mango Mojito, House Gold Margarita, and Twisted Old Fashioned. On the food side they have fried deviled eggs, a jumbo pretzel, and knockout shrimp all at $8. Not to mention the $7 premium spirits if you've had a long day.

Gustavo's is always a solid choice, even when the tacos aren't discounted. Taco Tuesdays make it even better with $3.50 tacos in chicken, steak, al pastor, veggie, or ground beef on flour or corn tortillas. Offered at all five locations.

Wednesday 6:30pm

Time to find out whether all those hours of Disney movies as a kid actually paid off. The Louisville Zoo is hosting Wild World of Disney Trivia Wednesday from 6:30-9, with food and drink specials, music, and prizes for the top three teams. Nothing says adulthood like drinking at the zoo and reliving some Disney nostalgia.

The 24th annual WorldFest is back at the Belvedere from this Friday through next Monday for an amazing community-driven Labor Day weekend tradition here in Louisville. Three entertainment stages, 150 international vendors, a children's activity zone, a global village, and a parade of cultures with nearly 1,000 participants. It's free to attend and expected to bring in over 150,000 people.

If you missed the one on Memorial Day, Fleur de Flea is coming back to Waterfront Plaza on Saturday for Labor Day weekend with over 200 vendors, plus food trucks and pop-up bars along the Ohio. Dogs on leashes are welcome, so bring your four-legged shopping companion and prepare to buy some stuff you definitely weren’t looking for.

The NYC bakery made famous by Sex and the City is officially open in NuLu. Founded in New York in 1996, Magnolia Bakery is known for its red velvet cupcakes and “world famous” banana bread pudding, and has also made appearances in Saturday Night Live, Spin City and The Devil Wears Prada. We haven’t had a chance to try it yet, but it’s on our list. For those who have been, let us know if it’s worth the hype.

Union in downtown Jeff is throwing one hell of a festival this weekend, and it happens to involve a lot of margaritas. The Lime and Light Margarita Festival goes from 4 to 8 with five included craft margaritas, a taco or guac bowl, vendor village access, a margarita competition, games, and live music from the River City Yacht Club Band.
