Food for a Cause

Pack the Sack Fundraiser at The Olmsted

Pack the Sack

Saturday 5-9pm

Louisville’s food community is coming together for a great cause at the 11th Annual Pack the Sack fundraiser this Saturday at The Olmsted. Hosted by Blessings in a Backpack Louisville, the event aims to raise $165,000 to provide bags of food for local students who might otherwise go up to 65 hours without meals between Friday lunch and Monday breakfast.

Guests can expect an impressive lineup of local culinary talent, including James Moran of House of Marigold, Dallas McGarity of The Fat Lamb and Cipollini, Noam Bilitzer of MeeshMeesh and Mill Iron 4, Jackie Joseph of JJ Bakes & Co., and Brandi Alexander. The night will feature creative small plates from each chef, craft cocktails from Heaven Hill, and beer from Atrium Brewing, all while supporting efforts to feed more than 5,000 local children each weekend.
