Wednesday happy hour at Butchertown Brewing means a dollar off every pour, all day, with an excellent selection to choose from. The current tap list includes everything from a crispy lager and a berry sour to a peanut butter marshmallow pastry stout and a barleywine that's been barrel-aged for 42 months. This week we're bringing back one of the classic meal deals in town. $22 gets you a salad, spaghetti and meatballs, fresh-baked focaccia, and a glass of house red or white at Grassa Gramma tomorrow evening. There are worse ways to start your week.

It's hard to say no to a free live concert in Central Park on a Friday night. The Old Louisville Neighborhood Council brings The Crashers to kick off the series this weekend, with food trucks and concessions starting at 7pm and music running 8 to 10. Show up early, grab something to eat, and enjoy the show.

If your family loves the Zoo like we do, you'll love the Wild Lights event starting this week. The event features 1,000 plus glowing handcrafted displays Thursday through Sunday nights, with themed sections ranging from Magical Forest to Prehistoric Animals. Tickets start at $20 for adults and $16 for kids when you buy online in advance, so skip the gate price and plan ahead.

The 5th Annual Bluegrass Pug Fest is exactly what it sounds like and yes, all dogs are welcome. Fifty thousand square feet of vendors, silent auctions, costume contests, pug races, and more, with proceeds going directly to rescue organizations around the country. The custard-eating contest alone is worth the trip.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey doesn't need much of an introduction, but the all-new Greatest Show On Earth coming to the Yum! Center is worth checking out. The production comes with a completely reimagined lineup of acts that holds up for every age in your group, which is harder to pull off than it sounds.

It's one of the rare shows where the kids and the adults are equally entertained, and nobody's glued to their phone.
