More than 100 local retailers, artists, and organizations are taking over the Lynn Family Stadium Fan Zone for Louisville Independent Business Alliance's annual Buy Local Fair on Sunday. Free admission, food and drinks on site, and purple lot parking for $10 per carload. A great reminder that spending local is one of the best ways to give back to the city we love.

If you haven't had a chance to make it out, Waterfront Wednesday is back again this week. Arlo Parks headlines alongside MODISTE, and over on the Monarch Living Room Stage, the Bluegrass Evolution Jam invites anyone with an instrument to show up and play along with the Bibelhauser Brothers and Grammy winner Michael Cleveland. Free admission, cash bar, food trucks, and one of the best settings in the city.

Memorial Day Hike, Bike & Paddle

The Mayor's annual Hike, Bike & Paddle gives families a perfect reason to get outside and actually do something on a Monday morning. The free event offers a 4-mile river walk, a downtown bike route, and a paddle route through the McAlpine Locks with free kayak rentals available on a first come first served basis. Arrive by 8am for free fitness activities on the main stage and to snag one of the first 2,000 free t-shirts.

Wag Into Spring Market at The Stables

A food truck just for dogs?! The Wag Into Spring Market runs noon to 4 on Saturday at The Stables at English Station with kiddie pools, a pup cup bar, and local vendors. There will also be food from Taco Choza and Little Japan alongside the dog-specific Woof N Waggin truck. The perfect excuse to get outside with your pups.

Rollin’ on the River Festival at Big 4 Station Park

Saturday 3-7pm
Rollin' on the River Fest is back for year three at Big 4 Station Park across the bridge in Jeffersonville, and the pour list is solid. Over 100 beers, seltzers, wines, and bourbons from breweries and distributors across the region, with live music from The Runaway Souls and local food vendors on site all day.
A stein hoisting contest, charity raffle, and outdoor games are all on the schedule if you need something to do between pours. All proceeds go to the WHAS Crusade for Children to provide opportunities to children with identified needs.
