Burgers and bourbon in a park sounds like a pretty great Saturday if you ask me. The inaugural Burgers & Bourbon Festival is coming to E.P. Tom Sawyer Park on Saturday. Local and regional burger vendors, bourbon experiences, food trucks, live entertainment, and merchandise vendors from 12 to 7pm. Tickets are on sale now, kids 12 and under get in free.

Louisville's first Island Rock Fest is taking place at Lou Lou on Market in NuLu on Saturday with a full day of live island rock, reggae, and beach-inspired music. Eric Brown & The Boat Drinkers, SandBarSoul, and PMA Sound headline a five-act lineup plus tropical food and drinks that follow the theme, including jerk grouper and shrimp ceviche with fried plantain chips. Free to attend, with raffle and auction proceeds benefiting the Alzheimer's Association.

Caufield's, Louisville's classic Halloween headquarters since 1920, is hosting CreepFest on Saturday and Sunday with 80+ vendors, haunted attractions, artists, special guests, and horror-themed merchandise. Dress up for the adult costume contest or the brand new Battle of the Haunts competition, grab something from a food truck, and enjoy it all for free.

If your family loves classic cars, the popular NSRA Street Rod Nationals at the Kentucky Expo Center is worth a visit. The 57th annual event runs Thursday through Sunday with thousands of pre-1996 cars on display plus live entertainment, a kid zone, swap meet, RC car displays, and more. Spectator tickets are $20 for adults, $6 for kids, free for children 5 and under, and discount tickets are available at any O'Reilly Auto Parts location.

Graeter's runs a monthly Dog's Night Out on the first Thursday of every month through September, and this Thursday is the next one. All three Louisville locations, St. Matthews, Springhurst, and Landis Lakes, are participating from 6 to 9pm with free Dogster frozen treats while supplies last.
