Ashley McBryde is bringing her Into the Wild Tour to the Palace this Thursday in support of her new album Wild. After spending a decade in Nashville she earned multiple Grammy nominations and her album Never Will remains the only one ever nominated for Country Album of the Year by the ACMs, CMAs, and the Recording Academy in the same awards season. One of J-Town's oldest and most loved traditions is back this weekend with the Gaslight Festival taking place Friday night through Sunday afternoon. Cafecito, a family-run coffee truck that built a following at the Old Louisville Farmers Market, just opened its first brick-and-mortar on Oak Street in Old Louisville. Co-owners Glenda Garcia Cortes and Meghan Jewell launched the business in 2023 and brought Glenda's mother Enedelia on board for the new space, expanding the menu to include pastries, empanadas, muffins, and conchas alongside the coffee.

Who knew that Louisville is home to the largest rock and metal festival in America? Louder Than Life is running Thursday through Sunday this weekend at the Expo Center. Some of the headliners include My Chemical Romance, Tool, Iron Maiden, Pantera, Limp Bizkit, Sublime, Megadeth on their farewell tour, a Circa Survive reunion, and well over 100 more acts.

Festival passes also include free access to 18 rides at Kentucky Kingdom, plus a tattoo studio, Jack Daniel's Barrelhouse, a bourbon bar, and food from some local favorites like Four Pegs, Ramiro's, and Pizza Lupo. Four-day, two-day, and single-day passes are on sale now.

If you don't have tickets to Louder Than Life, NuLu Fest is happening the same weekend and it's free. The festival goes from 11 to 8pm with the usual live music, local food, craft beer, bourbon, and handmade goods from local and regional vendors throughout the day.
